📣 Announcement Regarding My Campaign for Congress

After much thought, prayer, and discussion with my family, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from the 2026 race for Indiana’s 4th Congressional District.

This was not an easy choice. I entered this race because I truly believe the people of our district deserve a representative who listens, who fights for working families, and who puts people over politics. But at the end of the day, I must do what is best for my family—and right now, that means stepping away from this campaign.

I also want to be honest about the realities that led me here. There are changes happening within the Indiana Democratic Party that I simply cannot work within. I’ve been told that my values are “unrealistic”—that expecting politicians to care deeply for the people they represent, to stand on principle, and to lead with heart isn’t how things get done.

I’ve also been reminded time and again that without massive fundraising numbers, a win isn’t possible. While I understand the importance of resources in modern campaigns, I believe deeply that a campaign should be powered by people—not just dollars.

Though I’m stepping out of the race, I’m not stepping away from the fight. I will continue to serve my community, speak out for what’s right, and support candidates and movements that believe in compassion, courage, and real change.

To everyone who supported me, believed in me, and stood by me—thank you from the bottom of my heart. This isn’t the end. It’s just a new beginning.
